"Three lessons that I have learned during this time of pandemic about education, health, and family."

COVID-19 has been such a wake-up call in so many ways. I think for many of us, we are learning valuable lessons and restarting our goals. We are actually in the middle of a global trial that has drastically altered our lives. That is why we need to remember how important kindness is to us. We have to recognize that we have received a gift called life and that we should cherish it. This pandemic gave me so many lessons when it comes to education, health, and family.

I have learned that education is vital as we face this pandemic; we should know to prepare and avoid this virus. Mask, alcohol, and Face shield are essential as we go outside our house. Next, I learned the adjustment when it comes to online classes. I must say, it is not easy to have online classes, especially some lessons need to be learned face to face such as in PE subject and lab activities. I once experienced difficulties in dealing with such activities and tasks online, but I still did my best to overcome them. Moreover, I learned to be responsible and independent. In school, we are used to having partners in crime and such, but online closure is not that effective; that is why academic integrity and honesty became learning for students to be responsible enough to handle temptations especially now that it is online, everything can be searched in just one click.

When it comes to health, I learned to be more aware and careful since COVID targets people who have weak immune systems. I always get conscious of the foods I eat every day. Next, I became more water drinker, and I always take Vitamin C every day. I also learned that when you have good health, you will do everything in life and appreciate time more.

The first positive family impact is our family could spend more time together and get back to basics. I learned to show love and care to my loved ones. Treasure and appreciate them more than I used to do. I get to know more about my family, their likes and dislikes. Also, the importance of spending time with my family is what I learned during this pandemic. TIME IS VALUABLE; TIME IS GOLD.

Let us not forget what the lockdown has taught us about our resilience, strength, and courage. When we are pushed into a difficult situation, our real character shines. Let us use these unique circumstances to develop in ways we have never had before. Whatever struggles will occur, always do something you love and appreciate little things even more to avoid life regrets. Always trust the Lord.
